Organizing the Company Workflow

The organization of your workflow for your company is a crucial step to optimizing your business. It may seem daunting however, you can do it. Your team can be more productive by planning and a few tips.

A workflow is the sequence of steps needed to complete a specific task. It could be sequential, parallel, or a combination of both. It is comprised of tasks that are mandatory along with nice-to haves and must-haves which must be completed in order to reach the goal of the process. It also includes the resources, tools and personnel needed to complete these tasks. A well-organized workflow ensures maximum efficiency and productivity. It also allows employees to focus on the most important aspects of their job.

The workflow process can be automated with software. This is redirected here particularly useful in customer service, where it will reduce the time it takes to respond to a question. Automation can also reduce human error, which could improve the quality of a product.

To simplify the management and find your processes, you can organize your workflow into folders. For example sales workflows could be organized into different folders for each brand or product line. To create a folder, go to the dashboard of workflows and click Create. Give the folder a name, then click the checkbox beside the business unit that you would like to assign. To change a workflow’s business unit assigned to it you must hover over the workflow and select More > Change business unit.
