Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) Reminders for Tax Professionals

The IRS sends this letter to let you know that they are returning original documents, such as your passport or proof of identity (if you sent original documents instead of certified copies). You must have a PTIN if you, for compensation, prepare all or substantially all of any federal tax return or claim for refund.

What information is available for Foreign Property Buyers/Sellers?
